We're a small team of college students from Ewha Womans University in Seoul. We didn't read about this problem in a report — we lived it.
We started going outside to livestream and hit the same wall every IRL creator hits: data runs out at the worst moment. We watched streams die mid-scene. We managed SIM cards instead of making content. And eventually we asked — why can't fans just help?
That question became Going Live. But the real reason we built this goes deeper than data.
We live in a world overflowing with AI-generated content. Perfectly optimized, infinitely scalable, emotionally hollow. What cuts through all of it is sincerity — a real person, in a real place, sharing a real moment live. We want to make it possible for more people to do that.
We want people to livestream freely — without worrying about data costs, without needing expensive hardware. More voices deserve to be heard live. And more communities deserve to feel what it's like to show up for someone — not just watching, but actively keeping the stream alive.
